How We Won A Vacation To Hawaii With The Help Of Water Flow Meter?

Did you know that a water flow meter was an instrument which measured water usage? Did you that the water flow meters are used mostly to quantify in gallons, cubic feet, cubic meters, etc., the total usage of water in a certain house, or public system? Did you know that there were eight different types of common water flow meters, i.e. (i) positive displacement meter, (ii) mag meter, (iii) fire meter, (iv) compound meter, (v) fire hydrant meter, (vi) single-jet meter, (vii) multi jet meter, and (viii) turbine meter?

Chances are, if you are a lay person like me, that you did not know all this before you read it here. Neither did I know till I had to write this article. I tried to write all I could find on the subject on water flow meter and I agreed before I could think about it. You should never say ‘Yes’ to anyone without knowing exactly what is involved in it.

This rule applies to everything and everybody, but most of all it applies to friends – because once you say ‘yes’ you cannot go back on the word you give your friend. Hence, you should be extra careful when a friend asks you a favor. Never, never, never agree to do something you know nothing about.

My friend and I love challenges, bets, games, prizes – you name it. If there is some prize to be given away, my friend, Carl, would jump at the chance. Intoxicated by his joy, I would cheer him up and I sometimes even join him in his bets. It was one such day when we stumbled upon a TV show which promoted DIY projects conducted live on the beach.

Both of us thought it was fun at the time, and joined in the participant crowd. The host quizzed the available audience and offered a gift for every right answer given. My friend grabbed the opportunity already counting himself the owner of the prizes. Then the host handed us the topic in a sealed envelope which we were to show the audience – we opened it and found ‘water flow meter’ written in large blue letters. The rest of the day and night went into researching what a water flow meter is and all relevant information.
